Mr. Hugh King Wright, Jr., known as “Jim”, was with his wife and three daughters when he passed away after a sudden illness on February 16, 2018 in Durham, North Carolina. Born in Schenectady, New York on January 28, 1934, Jim made deep connections with the many places he lived and the people he met along the road less traveled. He is survived by his wife Peggy Brewer-Wright, brother Peter (Betty Lou), daughters Deborah (Deane Arnold), Rebecca (Joe Poliquin), Anne (Peter Krautwald), grandchildren Ben and Nate Krautwald, stepdaughter Kathryn Brewer-Armstrong (James Armstrong), and step grandchildren Ramsey and Kiernan Brewer. Jim will also be greatly missed by his fellow philosophers, theologians, singers, musicians, educators, and golfers.
